Living Lab: Streatham

We’re hosting a Lab with Clarion Futures and Hadley Property Group to explore access to green spaces in Streatham, London.

Through Covid-19 we have seen many people experiencing the added benefits of engaging with nature and the outdoors as a means of managing health and wellbeing during this pandemic. We have also seen a rising awareness of environmental challenges facing our country.

Thanks to the support of Hadley Property Group and Clarion Futures we would like to invite you to join a lab where we will use a design process to explore practical ideas and initiatives which enable a greener urban environment in Streatham.

The lab is a friendly session which will encourage you to be curious, open, contribute your ideas and experience to move us toward action. You don't need to be an expert to join us, we're interested in people who can bring positivity, ideas, a collaborative approach, local knowledge and a passion for nature and green spaces.

We'll guide you through a process to discover what might be possible, define a challenge to tackle that is important to you, develop ideas and identify a series of solutions to test.

Due to Covid restrictions this event will be hosted on zoom. To sign up please e-mail: Sarah.Mitton@clarionhg.com.

Innovations for an Ageing Population

Innovations for an Ageing Population

Pop-Up Lab

Wednesday 4th March

The Great Northern Hotel, Peterborough, PE1 1QL

If you work in housing or solutions for an ageing population,  join us for a cross-sector Pop-up Social Innovation Lab

Hosted by Clarion Futures, Engie and Liminal Labs, the pop-up lab will explore creatively how we can work together to find innovative solutions to tackle some of the challenges faced by an ageing population.

What is a lab?

Using sprint methodologies and design thinking we will come together to share insights, best practice and knowledge from our communities and come up with new ideas. You will also be given a pack of tools to take back to your communities to cascade the learning and methods from the day.

We hope that by the end of the session you will have experienced a part of a design sprint and there is the potential for a project idea to get support to move from concept to reality.

Age-Friendly Network

We are also launching our Age-Friendly Communities Network as part of the day, a network of Housing partners interested in collaborating to achieve greater impact through sharing ideas, challenges and working together on projects that can improve our communities.
